"Kelly's class is hard in the best ways. She really knows what she's doing and she takes the time to slow down and make sure you're doing your practice well."- A SweatBox Student

Kelly is a practicing medical speech language pathologist at Swedish Hospital. She has been a yoga student for over 10 years and became an RYT-200 vinyasa yoga teacher in 2014. In addition to regular vinyasa and hatha yoga, Kelly specializes in adaptive yoga for disability with training from Matthew Sanford of Mind Body Solutions. Kelly’s personal yoga practice and teaching continues to morph and evolve with deeper investigation of the sensations of yoga and the inner body. With this exploration Kelly brings an understanding of the body and what ails it to her teaching in addition to accessible spirituality very much rooted in real life. She speaks with honesty about life’s little and big frustrations and how the practice on the mat is practice for real life. In union with the physical yoga practice Kelly hopes to promote a deeper relationship with the heart and true self through alignment, breath, and investigation of your unique body.
