Peter started practicing on New Years Day in 2009 while recovering from a surgery and attending massage school. He was surprised to notice a dramatic change in his mobility, stamina, ability to sleep, and mood and eventually attended teacher training in Fall 2010.  Peter taught in NYC until his move to Seattle in fall 2018.  Outside of the hot room, he works as an advocate for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. He strives to help students feel more confident and connected in a fun and supportive environment.
